Delete Your Account
Orchia
You can delete your Orchia account and associated data directly from within the app. Deleting your account starts the process of removing your personal data from Orchia's active systems.
How to delete your account in the app:
- Open the Orchia app and log in
- Go to Settings
- Scroll to the Profile section
- Tap Delete Account
- Confirm the deletion when prompted
If you are unable to access the in-app deletion option, you may contact us at [email protected] to request deletion by email. We may ask you to verify your identity before processing the request.
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. We aim to remove your personal data from active systems within 30 days of deletion. Limited copies may remain temporarily in backups or operational records for a short period before deletion or overwrite. Deleting your account does not cancel any Google Play subscription. If you have an active subscription, cancel it through the Play Store before deleting your account.
Subscription and payment records may continue to be retained by Google Play and RevenueCat under their own policies after your Orchia account is deleted.
If you previously shared a task or schedule with another user and they accepted it, deleting your account does not remove the copy saved in their account.
Deleting individual data without closing your account
You can delete most data in Orchia at any time without deleting your account:
- Tasks - swipe or use the task menu to delete a task. Deleted tasks move to the Deleted Tasks screen for about 24 hours, where you can restore them or remove them immediately with "Delete Forever" or "Clear." After that window they are removed automatically.
- Completed tasks - remain in your completed history until you delete them. The history-length setting controls how far back completed tasks are shown, not when they are deleted.
- Recurring schedules - open the schedule and select Delete. You can delete just the schedule or the schedule together with its upcoming tasks.
- Task templates, categories, and saved recurrence presets - deletable from their management screens. Deleting a template does not delete tasks you already created from it; those tasks keep the information they need independently.
- Friends and social data - you can remove friends, unblock users, delete friend groups, and edit or remove nicknames at any time. These changes take effect immediately.
When you delete an item, it may briefly remain in our sync systems, typically up to about 30 days, so the deletion can propagate reliably to your other devices, after which it is permanently removed by automatic cleanup. Copies you exported or saved outside the app remain until you delete them yourself.
